#1. If you get blisters on your bare feet in sandals, try paper tape over the area of your foot where you feel a potential blister. (I like CVS brand because it is the thinnest.) It works better than a band-aid because the band-aid moves around and you will still get a blister. The paper tape is like adding a thin layer of skin so that when the shoe rubs it the paper tape protects your skin and the the shoe wears in instead of your skin.
#2. Soap on mosquito bites. I was told mosquitos inject an acid into bites so applying an alkaline substance like soap will help to neutralise it. I think any soap will do but I usually use olive oil soap cause I love olive oil soap!
